Hringveguring Elvis Costello

Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet played Boston’s Symphony Hall on Saint Patrick’s Day, 1993. Immediately after the concert, a heavy snowstorm forced several of us to huddle in a service lobby backstage. While we waited for the storm to pass, the musicians proceeded to exit the building and did indeed spend a few moments greeting us. I thought this would be the most appropriate time to confess my desire to perform a time-lapse circumnavigation of Iceland with Mr. MacManus. Hringvigur
